US Office Internship –ongoing openings
If you live in the greater Lexington, Kentucky area and want to work in our office in Wilmore, or you have a skill you think you could intern with remotely, let us know! We desire to partner with people looking for opportunities to apply their education/specialized training, fulfill educational requirements, or get job experience. An internship with WMF means exposure to the non-profit world, leadership development, and the chance to support incredible transformational work happening around the world. Periodically, we will post specific internship job descriptions and will take general applications at any time.
We believe an essential piece of every WMF internship is the spiritual formation that happens as we work together in community and learn more about God’s heart for the vulnerable. You’ll have the opportunity to engage in reading and discussions with staff and interns around topics of justice, diversity and privilege. Interns will be expected to be a part of monthly community building meetings.
To complete this application do the following:
- Submit the application form
- Send out the reference form link to three people (one professional reference, one personal reference (a friend would be fine), and a pastoral/spiritual reference.
- If you are applying for a graphic design, web design or videography internship please also email three work samples to opportunities@wordmadeflesh.org.
- If you are planning to receive credit from Asbury University for your internship, you will need to submit the $35 application fee (insert $35 into the “other” category). Note: you will need to talk with your Faculty Advisor as well the Registrar’s Office before Drop/Add week to get those credits added to your transcript.
