Dear Friends and Family,
This month we wanted to show you a small piece of the fruit of your prayers and sacrifices. Over the years you have held Chris and me up as friends, but more importantly as family. We are grateful and humbled by your examples of sacrifice and love.
“Good News” is a magazine that goes out to more than 70,000 readers. Last fall the editors of “Good News” came to our Word Made Flesh office and asked if Chris had written anything they might be able to use to bring out the issue of the Church and the Poor.
We gave them a few papers and articles, not sure if they it was they were looking for. In January the editors approached Chris with an edited version of one of his papers and asked if they could publish the article in March.
We were humbled and continue to remained humbled by all the God is doing already this year.
Enclosed you will find a copy of this month's “Good News” magazine. Not to show you what we are busy doing, but to show you what your prayers and sacrifices are doing for the poor. This article is a reflection of your involvement in the ministry.
We thank you for being a part of our lives, but more importantly, being a part of what God is doing for and among the poor in the world today.
