Job Description:
Word Made Flesh (WMF) is searching for a Community Liaison-a central role and responsibility for the WMF International Office in Omaha, Nebraska. The Community Liaison serves with a three-fold purpose:
- To create a warm and inviting office environment for staff, visitors and telephone inquiries.
- To serve as a general assistant to the directors.
- To maintain office organization.
WMF is an international Christian organization that serves among the most vulnerable people in urban areas of the majority world.
Qualifications:
A professing Christian who embodies a commitment to the values of WMF (WMF lifestyle celebrations as stated at https://wordmadeflesh.org/organization/about/)
The Community Liaison is either a full-time volunteer position or will be responsible for finding sponsors and donors to fund the position.
Education and Experience
High school diploma generally required
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
Keyboard skills
Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications (MS Word, Excel…)
Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
