Word Made Flesh is now hiring a Director of Advocacy and Development in our US office located in Portland, Oregon.
The Director of Advocacy and Development reports to the Global Executive Director and is responsible for two complementary areas within the organization:
- Advocacy – The Advocacy Department serves to amplify the voices of the WMF community (WMF community defined as WMF staff and the people among whom they serve) and is responsible for bridging the gap between those that WMF serves among and those who support WMF. The Director of Advocacy and Development, along with the Global Executive Director works to curate the brand of WMF.
- Development – The Director of Advocacy and Development oversees the processes by which WMF raises funding and develops ongoing relationships that support and extend the reach of WMF among the vulnerable.
