Social activist, political strategist, executive producer for BET and architect for social change, Jeff Johnson shared about the multicultural history of hip hop, its place in society as a sub-culture, and how, at its best, it communicates honestly from the artist’s life and community. Paralleling life to hip hop, Jeff said that being true to ourselves and playing our individual roles as best we can will unite us in a battle against social injustice.
