We welcomed Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove for April’s Beggars Society, WMF’s monthly advocacy meeting in Omaha. Jonathan is an author of several books and is a leading voice in the New Monastic movement—a way of living in community that seeks to represent the Kingdom of God. In his community house, The Rutba House, in Durham, NC, Jonathan and his family live with about 11 other people.
Most of all, Jonathan is an incredible storyteller. When complimented on his storytelling ability, he replied in his delightful Southern drawl, “I love stories. It’s what we’re made of, you know.” He laughed. “That and water.”
